FAQ
Before you start
Is Legalway a law firm?
No. Legalway is an advisory and document-support company. In Green Card, work visa, humanitarian and defense cases, the legal analysis and petitions are handled by US-licensed immigration attorneys who partner with Legalway. For tourist and business visas (B1/B2), Legalway handles the whole process.
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. The first review is to understand your profile and point out the possible paths. Fees are presented before you hire anything.
Do I need to speak English?
Not to work with us: we support you in English, Portuguese or Spanish. Some visas and steps, such as interviews and certain jobs, may require English, and this is assessed in your case.
How long does it take?
It depends largely on the visa category and US agency backlogs. In the assessment you get an estimate for your case.
Do you guarantee approval?
No. The decision always belongs to the US government. Our job is to choose the strategy best suited to your profile and present your case as strongly as possible.
